The Bigger Picture
Gen Z (born between 1997-2012) entered the workplace in 2019 and, by 2030, are set to make up 30% of the global workforce. ‘Lazy’, ‘Entitled’ and ‘No work ethic’ are some of the accusations being made to describe Gen Z, with leaders questioning how to manage this cohort of newcomers. We’ve followed the conversation with intrigue, analysed the research and have good insight into what’s needed from all angles.
With 77% of people now believing that GenAI will impact the way they’ll work within the next year, companies are now realising a greater need for soft skills such as empathy and leadership to complement technical skills. According to Deloitte, when employees were asked about the factors impacting their career decisions, Gen Zs gave responses that fell into the categories of Money, Meaning and Wellbeing, highlighting the changing landscape in work/life balance and workplace culture.
Our workshops are designed to meet the needs of this change, giving you the tools and resources to support staff with their mental, physical and social wellbeing, ensuring sustainable pathways to growth. Integrating Neuroscience, Embodiment, Enneagram identification, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Meditation, this is a truly unique and holistic approach where science meets soul.

What this means for your organisation
The research shows young people value efficiency, transparency and flexibility. They respond to direct instruction and mentorship and, despite being digital natives, they prefer face-to-face, real interactions. The research also shows employers require greater resilience, self-awareness and communication. Our training recognises both needs and empowers young people to channel their motivation responsibly, collaborate as part of a team and develop autonomy.
For organisations, that means:
- Healthier communication and stronger relationships.
- Graduates who take ownership and show initiative.
- Teams who can adapt without losing trust.
- A culture where openness and accountability feel normal.
We work with Learning and Development teams, HR departments, College/University students, Graduates and work alongside leaders to implement meaningful change.
Educational institutions
School leaders know the ground has shifted. Academic achievement is no longer the only marker of ‘success’. The need for ‘skills over knowledge’ has never been more apparent. Our workshops meet the needs of Ofsted’s new Personal Development Framework (2024) whilst giving students invaluable opportunities to learn the real-life skills needed for Further Education, training or employment. We can cover topics listed in the framework, such as Equality, Diversity, Identity and Protected Characteristics.
From self-awareness and emotional literacy to confidence and leadership, we aim to bridge the gap between education and employment.
Please note: this is targeted work for Sixth-Form/College/University-aged students only.
Next steps
If this sounds like the kind of training and development your students, graduates or employees would benefit from, the first step is a short consultation. Together, we’ll explore your context and what you’d like to see shift. From there, we’ll either design something bespoke that fits your brief, or you can select from our signature workshops.
